On April 29, a law student was first raped and then brutally murdered in Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district of Kerala. She was found dead in a pool of blood by her mother who returned home from work.
The autopsy report said that her intestine were ripped out in the attack and the deceased was attacked multiple times with a sharp-edged weapon. The attack is being referred as Nirbhaya case of Kerala.
Though the incident took place over a week before, the investigative officers are completely clueless with no arrest been made so far. However, on Monday two persons were detained in Kochi for interrogation in connection with the case.
While the family is still in deep shock, the investigative officials have assured that perpetrators will be nabbed and will be behind bars soon.
