Bangladeshi Actress Humaira Himu Dies at 37

DHAKA: Bangladeshi actress Humaira Himu tragically passed away at the young age of 37. According to media reports, she was taken to the Uttara Adhunik Medical College Hospital where the doctors pronounced her dead.
According to reports, she died on Thursday. Humaira Himu was taken to the Uttara Adhunik Medical College Hospital in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka after she was reportedly found unconscious.
The President of the Actors Equity Association, Ahsan Habib Nasim, reportedly told the media that the doctors, upon observing a faint ligature mark on her neck, promptly informed the police. He also disclosed that a friend accompanying her had left the hospital prior to the arrival of the police, and they are currently seeking to locate him. Reportedly, a postmortem examination will be conducted to ascertain the precise cause of her passing.
The police have claimed that Humaira Himu may have taken her own life following an argument with her romantic partner on the afternoon of November 2. Police also suspect that the man, in question, fled the scene before the medical professionals officially declared her death.
The additional deputy commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Uttara zone, Mirza Salahuddin, reportedly stated that the exact cause of Humaira Himu’s death will become clearer following the post-mortem examination. He noted that Humaira didn’t have many close relatives, and the police were in contact with her aunt and cousin.
Humaira Himu embarked on her journey in the world of performing arts when she began working with Nagorik Nataangon Unassemble, Dhaka, in 2005. Her small screen debut took place in 2006 with ‘Chayabithi’. Over the years, she graced the television screen in numerous dramas, including ‘DB,’ ‘Sanghat,’ ‘Chairman Bari,’ ‘Batighor,’ and ‘Shonena She Shonena.’ In addition to all this, she also appeared in the film ‘Amar Bondhu Rashed’ in 2011, directed by Morshedul Islam.
In recent years, Humaira had focused more on television and was planning a comeback after a hiatus. Her sudden demise has left the entertainment industry and her fans in shock. Humaira Himu began her acting career with theater in 2006, and then ventured into television with the series “Chayabithi”. She also appeared in various TV series including “Bari Bari Sari Sari”, “Housefull”, and “Gulshan Avenue”.
