R.K.Singh’s outburst due to no post-retirement job: Narayanasamy

narayanNEW DELHI : Minister of State in the PMO V. Narayanasamy Wednesday hit out at former home secretary R.K. Singh for his attack on Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, saying he had done so because he was not offered a post-retirement job.
“I could see he was expecting some kind of position in government. Since it was not materialising, he is making allegations which are not true,” Narayanasamy told reporters. ”This is very unfortunate, he was in government and had access to several documents… He is making these allegations without proof and changing his stand all the time,” he added.
R.K. Singh, who recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tuesday accused Shinde of interfering in the Delhi Police probe into IPL betting and said the minister was not fit for the portfolio.
Defending Shinde, Narayanasamy said he has “impeccable integrity”. “He is a man of action. He has made several reforms, and law and order situation has improved across country,” he said. External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid meanwhile said R.K. Singh should have made these comments when he was in office.
“The point is if Mr. Shinde had a point of view, and he (R.K. Singh) disagreed, he should have made that disagreement known. Nobody can stop a legitimate investigation taking place. So Mr. R.K. Singh must realise he is actually condemning himself every time he speaks,” Khurshid told the Times Now T.V. channel.
