Samajwadi Party candidate calls Mulayam ‘budda’, expelled
AGRA: The Samajwadi Party has expelled its Lok Sabha candidate here, Sarika Baghael, and her husband Devendra for calling party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav a “budda” (old).
Party general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav said Maharaj Singh Dhangar would be the new candidate for the Agra City seat. Devendra Baghael had visited a traffic police office Friday afternoon. During a row with an official, he insisted that auto-rickshaws should be allowed to ply on the Mahatma Gandhi Road. This is when he referred to Mulayam Singh Yadav in a derogatory manner.
Within hours, the Samajwadi Party hit back. A stunned Devendr Baghael said he would remain loyal to Mulayam Singh Yadav.
