Kapil Sharma joins ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’!
NEW DELHI : Comedy king Kapil Sharma, not just tickles the funny bone but also performs his duty as a righteous citizen of the country. The ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ host took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share his happiness over joining PM Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’.
Kapil posted: “Participated in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan with the CM of Maharashtra n @poonam_mahajan perfect start to the day..what r u waiting for .. ?”Another Bollywood veteran who was seen in the cleanliness drive was filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar. The director posted a picture on Twitter, captioning it as: “Happy & privileged to be a part of the #SwachBharatAbhiyan with Hon CM @Dev_Fadnavis @poonam_mahajan @ShelarAshish
Kapil and Madhur started the cleanliness drive in Mumbai city along with the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devdendra Fadnavis and Member of Parliament from Mumbai North Central Poonam Mahajan.
The Bollywood celebrities not only participated in the initiative taken by the PM, but also urged their fans and followers to do the same. ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
