NEW DELHI : Just before the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is busy in setting up its family. Distracted by the latest alliance of 26 opposition parties (India), the saffron party has been forced to constantly change its strategy.

The four-term MLA had lost his seat in a close fight in the recently held assembly polls in Karnataka.
Former Union minister Radha Mohan Singh, a Lok Sabha MP from Bihar, has also been dropped as a party vice-president. BJP also dropped Dilip Ghosh as Vice President, and Vinod Sonkar, Harish Dwivedi, both Lok Sabha MPs from Uttar Pradesh, and Sunil Deodhar as secretaries.
Disturbed by some untoward incident, this time the ruling party is seen trying to win over the minority vote bank in its favor by giving place to two Muslim leaders in its clan. The shocking name is that of Member of the Legislative Council, Tariq Mansoor. Tariq Mansoor has been the Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University. Kerala leader Abdullah Kutty is another member of the minority community in this list. Mr Nadda’s tenure as BJP president was extended in January this year to give him a chance to be at the helm during the next Lok Sabha elections.
Before the 2024 elections, the BJP has been forced to undergo a major organizational reshuffle. 13 vice-presidents and 9 general secretaries have been included in the team of central office-bearers of BJP. In Jharkhand, two big leaders have been entrusted with big responsibility. These include the names of Raghuvar Das and Asha Lakda. Former CM of the state Raghuvar Das has been made the national vice-president of the BJP by the party. Whereas, Mayor of Ranchi Municipal Corporation Asha Lakda has been entrusted with the responsibility of National Secretary. Raghubar Das has been given this responsibility for the third time by the BJP as the National Vice President, while Mayor Asha Lakda has been made the National Secretary for the second time.
Just before the Lok Sabha elections, the change at the national level is being considered very important. The BJP has set a target of winning 80 Lok Sabha seats from Uttar Pradesh. Women have also got representation in the list of national office bearers. The party has given a chance to some new faces by making changes in many important posts including National Vice President, National General Secretary, National General Secretary (Organization), National Co-Organization General Secretary and National Secretary.
Three people from Uttar Pradesh of the party have been given the responsibility of National Vice President. The shocking name is of Legislative Council member Tariq Mansoor. After resigning from the post, Yogi Adityanath’s government had nominated Tariq Mansoor as a member of the Legislative Council as a gift. Now he has been appointed as the National Vice President.
BJP has appointed UP MP Rekha Verma as its national vice-president. Uttar Pradesh MP Laxmikant Bajpai has also been made the national vice president. There are a total of 13 names in the list of National Vice President. BJP has declared MP from Uttar Pradesh Arun Singh as the National General Secretary. Uttar Pradesh MP Radha Mohan Agarwal is also included in the list of 8 names of National General Secretary. Member of Parliament from Uttar Pradesh Surendra Singh Nagar has been posted as National Secretary. Only Naresh Bansal has got a place in JP Nadda’s new team from Uttarakhand. Keeping in view the assembly election states, new names have been stamped.
