Lata Mangeshkar Lauds Actor Ayushmann For His Acting In ‘Andhadhun’
MUMBAI : Hit-machine Ayushmann Khurrana who set the box office on fire with his latest flick `Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan` recently took to Twitter to thank the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar for the appreciation she showered at him on the social media.
In her tweet on Friday, Mangeshkar lauded Khurrana for his acting and singing skills in the 2018 black comedy crime thriller `Andhadhun`. In her post, the evergreen artist said that she saw Ayushmann`s movie Andhadhun and feels that he did a great job with acting and singing. She further went on to congratulate Khuranna for his praiseworthy work and blessed him with good luck for the future.
In order to show his appreciation, the actor retweeted that what she said meant a lot to him. He also thanked Mangeshkar for her kind words. The wholesome and heartwarming social media interaction between the two got positive comments from several Twitter users.

Main aapko bahut badhaai deti hun aur aapko bhavishya mein aur yash mile aisi mangal kaamana karti hun.”
The actor took no time to reply to the praise and wrote, “Lata di aapka yeh kehna mere liye bahut maayne rakhta hai. Aapke is protsaahan ke liye hee shayad maine mehnat ki thi. Aashirwaad ke liye shukriya.” As Ayushmann replied, the Internet is in complete awe of the social media exchange and flooded the social media with their reactions.
Director Hitesh Kewalya’s Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is steady at the box office in the second week of release. The film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar opened with spectacular numbers, but the box office collection started to decline from Day 5.
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan opened with Rs 9.55 crore on February 21, and went on to make Rs 11.08 crore and 12.03 crore on first Saturday and Sunday respectively. In its first week of release, the film had made Rs 44.84 crore. The collection saw an improvement on Saturday (February 29) as the film earned Rs 3.25 crore. The film has collected Rs 50.12 crore till now,
With Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Ayushmann Khurrana reunited with director Hitesh Kewalya. The actor-director duo has earlier worked together in 2017 film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. The new film is the sequel to the 2017 film, which was about erectile dysfunction
