MUMBAI: An old video of Nargis Fakhri auditioning for ‘America’s Next Top Model’ has surfaced online. The pretty model-turned-actress was about 24 at that time and looked visibly nervous during the audition.
From admitting to being nervous to telling that modelling is “just a job”, “I don’t have a favourite model” and “I do not know how to redeem myself”, the ‘Rockstar’ actress displayed her honesty and innocence as a young ambitious girl.
Though she fumbled and couldn’t really speak well, one of the judges appreciated her beautifully crafted frame.Well, so what if she couldn’t become ‘America’s Next Top Model’, she has been able impress Bollywood by her beauty and charm. As a 24-year-old then, even she wouldn’t have known that ten years down the line, she would become one of Bollywood’s prettiest faces.
