Priyanka may be projected as CM candidate in UP polls
LUCKNOWL In a bid to enhance its winning prospects in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Congress may project Priyanka Gandhi as its CM candidate.
Political strategist Prashant Kishor, who has been roped in by Congress for 2017 UP polls, may ask the party’s top brass to project Rahul Gandhi’s sister Priyanka Gandhi as the party’s chief ministerial candidate, according to a report in The Economic Times.
Prashant Kishor, the star poll strategist known for designing campaign for Narendra Modi in 2014 Lok Sabha polls and steering Nitish Kumar to Bihar CM’s chair, will steer the Congress campaign for the upcoming UP polls.
