Rahul ‘s Jibe at PM Modi Over RSS Review
NEW DELHI: Targeting RSS, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today dubbed it as an “intolerant non-state actor” “controlling” the Narendra Modi government and said the Prime Minister cannot see it.
He tweeted: Mr Gandhi’s post on the microblogging site came soon after the Prime Minister had a meeting with the RSS top brass in the capital today.
“Intolerant non-state actors now control large territories where they are unleashing barbaric violence on innocent people… The severe limitations in our conflict resolution mechanisms are becoming more and more obvious….,” the Prime Minister had said yesterday addressing a conference.
Mr Gandhi’s attack came close on the heels of Congress spokesman Shaktisinh Gohil giving RSS the nickname of “Rashtraki Supreme Sarkar” in the wake of an array of Union Ministers and the Prime Minister meeting the Sangh top brass.
“The way Union Ministers & PM is lining upto meet RSS people, The real meaning of RSS – Rashtriya Ki Supreme Sarkar” (Supreme Government of the nation), Mr Gohil remarked at the AICC briefing.
Unrelenting in its attack on the government on the issue, Mr Gohil took a dig at the Prime Minister he said that “before going to Bhagwat Ki Pathshala, Prime Minister should have attended Rashtrapati’s Pathshala”.
He said that had the Prime Minister attended the President of India’s Pathshala, he would have known what Congress did in 60 years.
