Ranveer Singh-Farooq Abdullah Dance-Off Goes Viral
NEW DELHI: It took two – actor Ranveer Singh and politician Farooq Abdullah – to tango at the NDTV Indian of the Year awards in New Delhi on February 2, and their impromptu dance-off swiftly went viral.
Farooq Abdullah, 78, found himself trending on Twitter after matching Ranveer, 30, step for step to the tune of Malhari from the actor’s last film, Bajirao Mastani.
In a delighted tweet, photographer Atul Kasbekar asked Mr Abdullah’s son Omar Abdullah for ‘video evidence’ of the National Conference leader’s previous dance routines. The video has since been watched over 7,00,000 times on Facebook.
