India prays for Siachen survivor Lance Naik Hanumanthappa; PM, Army Chief visit hospital
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Army Chief Dalbir Singh Suhag joined the nation in praying for Lance Naik Hanumanthappa, who miraculously survived below 25 feet of snow on the icy slopes of Siachen Glacier.
Army Chief Dalbir Singh was the first to reach Army’s Research and Referral Hospital in the national capital after Hanumanthappa was flown in from Siachen.
