Uttrakhand CM Vijay Bahuguna will resign today…?
DEHRADUN : The chief minister of Uttrakhand Vijay Bahuguna will resign from his post today according to the sources. He will be replaced by Union Minister Harish Rawat. From the last few days there was speculation that the party wants to replace him in the wake of upcoming General election.
The senior party leaders of Congress Mr. Gulam Nabi Azad and Ambika Soni will reach state capital today to complete the formality and make sure that there should not be any problem in the process. According to sources some state leader’s wants that Indira Hridayesh should be made the next Chief Minister. But for now Harish Rawat is frontrunner among all.
On his recent visit to Delhi Vijay Bahugna was told that he will be likely to be relieved from his post, as the central leadership is not happy with his performance.
The way in which Vijay Bahuguna handeled the last year’s natural disaster was not received well by both Congress and the opposition BJP.
