SRK will do what Kamal Hassan did years back
MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan has two big releases this year – ‘Fan’ and ‘Raees’ – slated to release on April 15 and Eid respectively. Even as he is busy promoting and shooting for these films, SRK has been planning his future projects with zest.
Filmmaker Aanand L Rai, who has not worked with any Bollywood biggies in past, will now team up with this superstar for his next project.
Talking about SRK, Rai said, “He is a gutsy actor. He always takes challenges. It is a delight to have him in the film. We both have liking for each other. We want to work together and we are on that process. Shah Rukh is a very intelligent man. He makes you feel so important and responsible so it is fun to work with him. He was very happy to hear the story.”
SRK will play a dwarf in the love story. Veteran actor Kamal Hassan had played a dwarf in ‘Appu Raja’ in 1990. And it will be interesting to see how SRK pulls off the role.
“It (story) sounds it is just about dwarf but it is much more than that. It is a much taller film. It is a very entertaining and interesting love story. I will be fool if I have Shah Rukh Khan in my film and have no romance and songs,” Rai said while talking about SRK’s role in the film.However, the filmmaker is yet to finalise the lead actress for the movie.
