Salman Khan’s ‘rakhi sister’ Shweta Rohira separates from her husband
MUMBAI: After a long-term relationship, a big fat Punjabi wedding filled with Bollywood stars, Pulkit Samrat and his wife Shweta Rohira, have now separated.
Shweta is also Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s ‘rakhi sister’ and is very close to the actor’s family. The star-studded wedding function was held in Goa last year, on November 3, which was attended by Salman, Sohail and Arbaaz Khan.
Shweta stood by Pulkit when he was a TV star and even later when he took baby steps into Bollywood. But, it looks like that fairy tale love story has hit rock bottom.
According to an entertainment daily, the two are currently living separately — Pulkit in Delhi and Shweta in Mumbai. The estranged couple did not even celebrate their anniversary on November 3 together.
While speaking to the daily, Shweta said that Pulkit told her the reason behind the separation is his family. She wasn’t given any other reason, Shweta says.
While there were rumours of Pulkit and his co-star Yami Gautam getting close on the sets of their upcoming film, Shweta chose to stay mum on that topic.
Pulkit made his Bollywood debut with Bittoo Boss in 2012. Later he did films like Fukrey, Jai Ho, O Teri, Dolly Ki Doli and Bangistan with Riteish Deshmukh.
