Purvanchal Sena chief arrested over ‘Rs 11 lakh reward’ to kill Kanhaiya Kumar
NEW DELHI: Adarsh Sharma, who claims to be the president of ‘Purvanchal Sena’, was arrested by Delhi Police on Monday evening, as per media reports.
Earlier today the Delhi Police had questioned Sharma in connection with the case registered over sticking posters in the city announcing a reward of Rs 11 lakh for anyone who “shoots dead” JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar.
Sharma was questioned at a police station in New Delhi district, a senior police official confirmed without divulging further details, as per .

The poster said “whosoever shoots JNU Students’ Union president Kanhaiya will be rewarded Rs 11 lakh on the behalf of Purvanchal Sena.”The posters carried the mobile number and name of Adarsh Sharma, president of one Purvanchal Sena.
