“BJP leader Narendra Modi in his recent interview had claimed that if needed he might seek support of AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa, TMC’s Mamata Banerjee and BSP national president…I want to make it clear that BSP will not extend any kind of support to NDA at any cost,” Ms. Mayawati told reporters.“When elections started, Modi was claiming that NDA will not require support of any other party. No party talks about taking support of any other party unless it is unsure of its victory…The interview of Modi is a ploy to create confusion in the minds of minority community which are voting for us,” she said.
Accusing the BJP of indulging in dirty tricks, the former UP Chief Minister said BJP has always tried to damage the BSP movement.“During the previous NDA government, they had slapped disproportionate assets case against me in an attempt to damage the BSP movement. Similarly, in the state also when they formed government with us, they tried to damage us,” she said.18 seats in UP will go to polls on May 12 in the final phase of the elections which will decide the fate of BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, BJP leader Kalraj Mishra, Aam Admi Party’s Arvind Kejriwal and Samajwadi Party’s Mulayam Singh Yadav.
