Marriage is Cancelled Now, Love is Back: Salman
MUMBAI: His fans may be waiting for years to see Bollywood superstar Salman Khan get married but the popular actor seems in no mood to do so though he strongly believes in love.Recently, the actor surprised everyone when he said he is open to the idea of an arranged marriage.
However, when asked what qualities he looks for in a girl, he quipped, “Marriage is cancelled now; love is back,” at the launch of a song Aaj Ki Party from his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
The 49-year-old actor’s love life has always made headlines right from his affair with Somi Ali to Sangeeta Bijlani to Aishwarya Rai to Katrina Kaif. Directed by Kabir Khan and co-produced by Salman, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.
Salman’s another upcoming joint production Hero featuring Suraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty is releasing on September 4. On the same day,Phantom starring Katrina, is also slated to hit the theatres.
On July 2 Salman shared the first look of Hero on social networking site Twitter. When asked about the box office clash, Salman said,”That (Phantom) is also our film.”
Hero is an action film directed by Nikhil Advani. It is a remake of Subhash Ghai-directed 1983 film of the same name, which starred Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri in lead.
The remake features star kids Suraj Pancholi, son of Aditya Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, daughter of Suniel Shetty.
