Mann Ki Baat: PM advises students not to come under examination pressure
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister has counseled students to set their own targets and work towards achieving their goals. In his Mann Ki Baat programme on All India Radio, Mr Narendra Modi asked students appearing in examinations not to buckle under pressure and expectations.
Prime Minster also laid emphasis on Yoga and how it is the key to develop the inner mind. The Prime Minister gave examples of Thomas Alva Edison who face multiple failures before making his great invention.
First time, eminent personalities from different spheres shared their valuable thoughts with the nation through Mann Ki Baat.Sachin Tendulkar asked students to set realistic targets and work hard to achieve them and also to adopt a positive and focused approach.
Linking Chess with exams, Vishwanathan Anand said brain recalls the right answer at the right time if the mind is calm.Bharat Ratna CNR Rao said, all that is needed is determination and tenacity and said not to give up.On the occasion of National Science Day today, Mr Modi
laid emphasis on the importance of Science and Technology and innovation. He lauded the efforts of Indian scientists who were part of the team that discovered Gravitational Waves. He announced to set up a Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory in India for furthering the research.
Concluding his address, Mr Modi said the General Budget, which will be presented in Parliament tomorrow, is going to be his examination. He said, nation will prosper if he and students pass their exams with flying colours.
