Kejriwal
Following the refusal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to form the government in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party has now sought 10-day time to take a decision on the formation of government.Addressing mediapersons after meeting Lieutenant-Governor Najeeb Jung, Kejriwal expressed surprise over the unconditional support offered to AAP by Congress.
He said that he had written to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and BJP president Rajnath Singh, asking them to clarify their stand on the issues mentioned in AAP’s manifesto.

Kejriwal said that he doubted the unconditional support, saying no support in unconditional.Reacting to it, the Congress said that it would examine Kejriwal’s letter and get back to him in a day or two.

According to Indian Express The meeting between Kejriwal and the Lt Governor came amid the Congress assuring an “unconditional support” to AAP and the BJP promising a “constructive opposition”. Earlier, AAP had maintained that it would not get into the support business as it’s principles and politics are different from that of the two national parties. It has, instead, asked the Congress and the BJP to join hands as they indulge in “similar kind of politics”.
Delhi Congress president J P Agarwal on Friday sent a letter to Kejriwal offering support of its eight MLAs, even as state BJP unit chief Vijay Goel said that it AAP was serious about fulfilling the promises in its manifesto, it must go ahead and form the government, assuring an unconditional support.
A day before the meeting, AAP leader Yogendra Yadav on Friday said that they would explain their stand to the Lt Governor, conveying that the party does not have the required numbers and also that it does not believe in horse-trading for government formation.
“We will explain our stand to the Lt Governor…AAP is neither the single largest party nor does it believe in horse-trading,” said Yadav.
