Well, according to BollywoodLife.com, Hrithik’s friend Kunal Kapoor through his crowdfunding organisation Ketto, called in for funds for a family based in the US who were in need of money to perform the last rites for their loved one. And it was when Hrithik got to know of it, he intervened and offered to help.
Yes! The report quotes a source as saying, “A family based in the US, who suffered a personal tragedy, was desperately in need of Rs 5 lakh to lay a loved one to rest. The family was left wanting for funds to pay for the deceased’s funeral rites, which are expensive in that part of the world. Kunal posted on his social media accounts, asking people to come forward and help the family.
When Hrithik learnt about it, he asked for more details and asked his team to transfer the amount to the account of one of the family members of the departed. Hrithik is known to be a very giving person, who always steps in to help those in trouble and need.”
