Disruptions continue, both Houses adjourned

Rahu_parliament_2505001f [1]NEW DELHI: Twenty-five Congress members of the Lok Sabha, who were suspended by Speaker Sumitra Mahajan for five days for unruly behaviour, will be back in the House today.
Parliament is likely to remain paralysed as the Congress showed no signs of relenting on its protests on the Lalit Modi and Vyapam issues and hit out at the BJP for its “politics of abuse“.
The ruling party too sharpened its attack on the Congress saying it had played the role of “obstructionist and destructive” opposition during the session as it was “politically bankrupt”.
12: 05 pm: Lok Sabha adjourned till 12:30 pm.

Mallikarjuna Kharge also joins the meeting of opposition leaders with Lok Sabha Speaker.
11: 33 am: Mulayam Singh Yadav urges Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to put Lower House in order before carrying on with business. The Samajwadi Party leader says she should call a meeting of opposition and treasury leaders to resolve impasse in Lok Sabha.

Lok Sabha adjourned till 12. House runs for 25 minutes amid disruptions.

10: 45 am: Congress moves adjournment motion in Lok Sabha for discussion on Lalit Modi and Vyapam case.

Congress vice-president arrives at Parliament.
