Congress says it will oppose FDI rectification Bill in Parliament
NEW DELHI: Congress has said, it will oppose the rectification bill on FDI in the Monsoon session of Parliament. This was announced by senior party leader Anand Sharma in Shimla today.
Addressing a press conference, Mr Sharma also said, the Centre has compromised the national interest in defence sector.
The Union Government had, on Monday, approved 100 per cent FDI in a host of sectors including civil aviation, defence, pharma and single brand retail sector under automatic route.
