BAHRAIN : Congress President Rahul Gandhi today sought assistance of Indians living in Bahrain to “fight forces of hatred” in India, reported ANI.
Addressing Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin in Bahrain, Rahul said, “There is a serious problem at home, and you are part of the solution.” “I seek your help to fight forces of anger in India,” urged Rahul.
“Your talent, skills, tolerance, patriotism is what India needs today. You have shown us how you have built the countries you have journeyed to. Now help us rebuild India,” added Rahul.
In his speech, the Gandhi scion went on to claim that there was “tremendous anger and unrest on the streets of India”.
The fight is not with BJP. The focus is on us. We have made mistakes but we have accepted them. Manmohan Singh had called out demonetisation because the party has experience. We have experience and the young force says Congress President Rahul Gandhi in Bahrain today .
He says the Congress party is fighting on road. Gujarat is the hub of BJP. The saffron party just won marginally in the state. Our party questioned the party thoroughly in the state.

Congress President addressed a convention of NRIs in Bahrain. He is the chief guest at valedictory session of a function organised by Global Organisation of People of India Origin (GOPIO) there today.
Mr Gandhi received a “euphoric reception” on his arrival in Bahrain today.This is Rahul’s first overseas visit after he took charge of the Congress party as its president last month. He also met royal members of Bahrain’s ruling family, including CrownPrince Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Prince Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

He said that I cannot imagine India where everyone does not feel a part of it. So the starting point is to feel that all citizens irrespective of their caste, religion, wealth are Indians. Indians living in India and outside are our strength and asset. We will make them realise this. Today, the signalling is wrong. When their is violence against somebody, there is silence today.
