MUMBAI: The stunning Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a breathtaking appearance at the Cannes Film Festival and stunned her critics in a figure-hugging Roberto Cavalli fishtail gown. Not only did she make news because of her rocking comeback but she also openly praised Narendra Modi.
Speaking to media at the Cannes, Aishwarya said she is very happy on Modi’s victory and is thrilled to see him as the next Prime Minister of our country. She feels that India will develop and prosper under his leadership. She also added that she is looking forward to India shining .
Aishwarya’s open praise of Modi at a public platform has been hailed by his supporters. Aishwarya’s father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan has also previously worked with Modi to promote Gujarat tourism. Hence, it does not come as a surprise that his daughter-in-law is a Modi fan.
