AIFW: Shivan & Narresh rock it with bikini-saris,
The beachwear specialist designer duo Shivan & Narresh totally stole the show at the Amazon India Fashion Week with their Spring Summer 2016 beachwear collection. Neon bikinis, bikini-saris, bikini-lehengas and even jewelled creations made it a jazzy one indeed.
The designs were inspired by Diego Rivera .Shivan Bhatiya and Narresh Kukreja’s collection was inspired by the works one of the most prominent Mexican artisis Diego Rivera.
His work reflected in colour blocks and neons in the bikinis and other creations. “We were inspired by the artist while exploring the galleries of New York Rockerfeller Centre – the colour palette and social mood was captivating,” said Shivan Bhatiya.

The collection, presented in association with kitchen and bathroom luxury brand Kohler, was an amalgamation of designs for a bold and sophsiticated woman. “The bold look of Kohler amalgamates effortlessly with the bold, confident and aesthetic style synonymous with out brand – the association was natural and effortless,” said
Neons dominated the colour palette.
The colour palette was one perfect for a holiday and honeymoon. It was bright and it was sassy. Neon pinks and blues dominated the palette and black too was prominent. 
A black one-shoulder jumpsuit by Shivan and NarreshThe designs that stood out for us were a jewelled bikini sari and a black jumpsuit. Drapes on bikinis too were an eyecatcher.
