Uproar over Modi’s ‘Mujra’ comment …Opposition said- take him to the doctor
NEW DELHI The General Election 2024 is going through its last phase. After the sixth phase of voting on 25th May, the seventh and last phase of voting will be held on 1st June. Before this, the volley of statements has intensified. In this sequence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a big issue to the opposition by giving “Mujra” statement.
Opposition parties have intensified their efforts to corner PM Modi. Mujra is a dance performance widely associated with prostitutes.
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra today hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mujra” comment, saying the Prime Minister should maintain the dignity of his post. The comments were made when the Prime Minister was accusing the opposition of vote bank politics, which was also condemned by other leaders of India.
At her rally in Gorakhpur, Vadra said it is the land of Mahatma Buddha, Saint Kabir, Guru Matsyendra Nath, Guru Gorakhnath and “I feel very proud to be here”.She said the unemployment in the country today is the highest in 45 years and it the “biggest problem”.”Does Modi ji talk about this? Have you heard the word unemployment from Modi ji? Has the time now come for Prime Minister Modi to tell what unemployment is?”The Congress General Secretary enumerated his priorities if the INDIA alliance comes to power and alleged the prime minister is leading an anti-poor, anti-farmer government.
Priyanka Gandhi, at a rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur along with ally and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, said no prime minister would have used such language. “What is Modiji saying? Is it not his responsibility to maintain the dignity of his post? We respect the post of Prime Minister. His reality can be seen now. Don’t show so much reality to the country. He has forgotten that he is the leader of the country. represent.” What will the future generations say?
In fact, while addressing back-to-back rallies in Karakat and Patliputra Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar, PM Narendra Modi said, “Bihar is the land which has given a new direction to the fight for social justice. I want to announce on its soil that I will foil the plans of India Alliance to deprive SC, ST and OBC of their rights and turn them towards Muslims. They can do ‘Mujra’ to please their vote bank.” Modi said- India Bloc is heading towards defeat in the current general elections… Said, “When the results come, RJD and Congress workers will be seen tearing each other’s clothes.”
He also said that the people of Bihar have been hurt by the comments allegedly made against migrants by leaders of Congress in Punjab and Telangana, DMK in Tamil Nadu and Trinamool Congress in West Bengal. In another “mujra jab” targeting the Tejashwi Yadav-led RJD, he said, “These RJD people who keep doing ‘mujra’ with their lantern (poll symbol) do not have the courage to say even a word in protest.” Not there.”
Criticizing the “Mujra” comment, Tejashwi Yadav said the Prime Minister’s language is getting worse with every phase of the election. “He is speaking a language which even his supporters do not like.” “He had refused permission, but our 17-month-old government conducted a caste-based survey and provided 75 per cent reservation. I would have asked Modiji Am: Which BJP ruled state has 75 percent reservation?”
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh hit back at PM Modi’s opposition’s allegations of ‘slavery’ and ‘mujra’ for the Muslim vote bank. He alleged that PM Modi has no control over his language and this is very unfortunate. The Rajya Sabha MP said Sometimes he says girlfriend worth Rs 50 crores. Sometimes says jersey cow. Sometimes the widow of Congress speaks. Sometimes Sharad Pawar is called a wandering soul. Sometimes Arvind Kejriwal is called a terrorist, Khalistani and unlucky. I think the Prime Minister has lost his temper and he is saying such things. This is the expression of his frustration over defeat.”
He said, what would be thinking in the world about the political language of the Prime Minister of my country. Which movies are these dialogues being written after watching? If someone starts saying that I have come through the divine path, I was not born biologically, if you and I say this then people will say take him to the doctor.”
Taking aim at the Prime Minister’s allegation that the Congress is planning a wealth redistribution scheme under which women’s mangalsutras will be taken away, Ms Gandhi Vadra said, “In a few days,
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Saturday hit out PM Narendra Modi for his “mujra” remark to target the INDIA bloc, and said no prime minister has ever used such words for opposition leaders in the history of the country. She said the entire country respects the post of prime minister and it his responsibility to maintain the dignity of the post. The PM has become nervous and has forgotten he is a representative of the country and of people, and such words should not have come out of his mouth, Vadra said here.
Earlier in the day, addressing rallies in neighboring Bihar, Modi asserted he will foil opposition INDIA bloc’s “plans” to rob SCs, STs and OBCs of their quota and divert these to Muslims. “They (the opposition bloc) may remain enslaved and perform ‘mujra’ to please their vote bank,” the PM said.
Vadra greeted the crowd with “Raua sabhe ke Ram-Ram” in Bhojpuri.
“Your faith and your hopes were once attached to Narendra Modi, but isn’t it the responsibility of the prime minister to maintain the dignity of the post?” she added. Reciting a composition of famous saint Baba Gorakhnath, the Congress general secretary said, “The entire country respects the post of prime minister and we also respect him.””But the way he (Modi) is speaking today, the sad thing is that his reality has been exposed.” She said the prime minister calls the entire country his family, but it does not reflect in his words. “Family members always have respect for each other (anko ki sharam) that should not be lost, that should always be kept,” she said..
“This land is a sacred land, the message of love, justice and harmony has always gone from here to the entire country. This message is the foundation of the Constitution, this is the foundation of our society, our culture and this is the foundation of our country’s democracy,” she said. Voting will be held in Gorakhpur and Bansgaon in the seventh phase of elections on June 1.
At his rally in Bihar, PM Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition alliance ‘INDIA’ and accused it of doing “slavery” and “mujra” for the Muslim vote bank.”Bihar is the land which has given a new direction to the fight for social justice. I want to announce on its soil that I will foil the plans of the ‘INDI’ coalition to loot the rights of SC, ST and OBC and give them to Muslims. They can remain slaves and do ‘Mujra’ to please their vote bank.”
