Akanksha files domestic violence case ,Yuvraj Singh, mother booked for domestic violence
NEW DELHI : India’s iconic allrounder Yuvraj Singh along with mother Shabnam and brother Zorawar, are booked for domestic violence by former Bigg Boss contestant and sister-in-law Akanksha on Wednesday. Akanksha was last seen in the 10th season of the famous reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. The domestic violence case against Yuvraj Singh’s family has been registered in Gurugram.
She refused to comment as of now, but assured to speak on the subject after the first hearing on October 21.

A Gurgaon court has issued a notice to cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s family to respond to a domestic violence case filed by Akanksha Sharma, married to Yuvraj’s younger brother Zoravar Singh. Akanksha, who was also a contestant in Big Boss 10, filed the case in August against Zoravar, mother-in-law Shabnam Singh and brother-in-law Yuvraj Singh. The court has given time till October 21 for the cricketer’s family to file a response.
Now a local SDM or lady police officer will investigate this complaint and allegations and a report will be submitted to the concerned court. The court will thereafter take a decision on how to further investigate the matter Meanwhile, Akanksha’s lawyer Swati Singh Malik confirmed the development and said, “Yes, Akanksha has filed a case of domestic violence against Yuvraj, her husband Zorawar and their mother Shabnam.
Look, domestic violence does not mean just physical violence. It also means mental and financial torture, which can be attributed to Yuvraj. Yuvraj was a mute spectator to the suffering caused to my client by Zorawar and his mother.”
