India says Pakistan established itself as global epicenter of terrorism
NEW DELHI : India has said that Pakistan has established itself as a global epicenter of terrorism. In a debate during the UN General Assembly in New York yesterday, India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin rejected the remarks on Kashmir made by Pakistan’s envoy Maleeha Lodhi.
He said, the claims by Pakistan find no resonance amongst the international community and the sell by date of Islamabad’s anachronistic approach is over.
Mr Akbaruddin said, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif raising the Kashmir issue in his General Assembly address also finds no support. He asserted that India’s response to Pakistan is consistent and advised Islamabad to abandon its futile quest.
Mr Akbaruddin said, Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and will remain so. He said, no amount of misuse of international fora by Pakistan will change that reality.
