Govt. unable to control ‘mosquitoes’ infiltrating from
NEW DELHI : Discarded Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has time and again threw his weight behind Indian soldiers who work day in day out to protect the nation.
Ever since a terror attack in Uri claimed lives of 18 Indian soldiers, the Delhi left-hander has been very active on Twitter where he has hailed the martyrs and has slammed the government’s inability to take any strict action.
Few days back, Gambhir had slammed the Delhi government for the water logging issue as well as expressed his concern over Chikungunia disease which was spreading like fire in the national capital.
On Monday, the 34-year-old took to Twitter again where he said that the leaders are not able to control mosquitoes in the country, as well as the ones which infiltrate the border.
In one of the deadliest attacks on the Army in recent years, 17 jawans were killed while 19 others were injured as heavily armed militants stormed a battalion headquarters of the force in North Kashmir’s Uri town during wee hours on Sunday.
The death toll increased to 18 as another soldier succumbed to his injuries on Monday. Four terrorists were killed by the Army in the ensuing encounter.
