BHUBNESHWAR: Sulabh International provides assistance of Rs 5 lakh to Dana Majhi. Sulabh International will also provide Rs 10,000 every month from Sulabh for education of his daughters.The Sulabh Internationl made a fixed deposit (FD) in Dana’s bank account, which will mature five years from now on September 3, 2021. Dana will get a sum of Rs 7,33,921 after five years at an interest rate of 7.5 per cent, said a bank official.
Sulabh International chief Dr Bindeshwar Pathak sent Vinod Sharma, a senior official of Sulabh, to meet Dana. Sharma handed over the FD paper worth Rs 5 lakh and Rs 10,000-cash to Dana at his Melghara village home.
