DMK chief Karunanidhi exudes confidence , Jaya says wait for results
CHENNAI: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M. Karunanidhi on Monday said the people of Tamil Nadu expected the Election Commission to bring to book those who were responsible for distribution and transfer of money even though the attempt to sell the state for money had been averted to some extent.

Meanwhile, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam treasurer M.K. Stalin demanded a CBI inquiry into the alleged money distribution in Aravakurichi and Thanjavur constituencies where the election have been postponed.
Mr. Stalin alleged that a senior minister including Chief Minister Jayalalithaa were involved in the irregularities.
