Those who have a problem with Rahul Gandhi will have to go: Khurshid

salman-2 [1]NEW DELHI :  Ahead of the Congress Working Committee meeting on Thursday, senior leaders in the party are voicing their support for party Vice President Rahul Gandhi. After Jyotiraditya Scindia, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid has also endorsed Rahul.
In fact, he has said that if anyone has a problem with Rahul, they will have to leave. Speaking to media, Khurshid said, “Time has come for generational change. There shouldn’t be adjustment problems with Rahul. Those who have a problem with him will have to go.”
Khurshid also hit out at the Aam Aadmi Party calling it a driver who does not know how to drive. “AAP is like a driver who doesn’t know how to drive and doesn’t even know the traffic rules. It has no ideology,” Khurshid said.
Congress leader Rajiv Shukla has also vouched for Rahul. “I will raise the demand that the Congress goes for elections under Rahul Gandhi. Rahul has never sought any post, he has always taken the responsibilities,” Shukla said.
Earlier on Thursday, Scindia also said that the country needs a young, dynamic committed leadership which can be provided by the Congress Vice President. He added, “It’s not about what the party needs. The whole country needs him. It needs someone young and dynamic committed leadership. I see all these values in Rahul Gandhi. I certainly hope Rahul Gandhi is declared the PM candidate.”
Scindia also said that he is ready to leave the ministership and go back to the party. “I am a soldier of the party and I work at the party’s bidding. Sonia, Rahul and the Prime Minister decided that I should be the power minister. I will do what my party asks me to do,” he said.
Meanwhile, media has learnt that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh could propose Rahul Gandhi’s name for leading the party’s Lok Sabha election campaign. There can be an economic and a political resolution too.
The resolution will also discuss whether Rahul Gandhi can be made the working president of the party. Sources say Congress may not decide on making Rahul Gandhi the prime ministerial candidate but the final call rests with Congress President Sonia Gandhi.But Rahul is all probability will be the face of Congress election campaign. He had attended the Congress core group meet for the first time on Wednesday.
