Scam-tainted MP minister resigns from BJP’s primary membership
BHOPAL: Former minister Laxmikant Sharma, who was arrested by the Special Task Force in connection with his alleged involvement in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB), resigned from the primary membership of the BJP here on Monday.
Union Minister for Steel and Mines and Madhya Pradesh BJP president Narendra Singh Tomar has accepted Sharma’s resignation from the primary membership of the party, a statement issued by the party said.Sharma was arrested by the STF yesterday from his residence in connection with his alleged involvement in the contractual teacher recruitment scam in the state.
