We will show them in 2019.

He said that after surpassing expectations in Gujarat elections, Congress would win the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and emerge victorious in 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Apart from Rahul, UPA former Congress president Sonia Gandhi and former prime minister Manmohan Singh also attacked the Modi government during the rally.
The former prime minister said that the democracy of the country was in danger with the Modi government consistently undermining its Constitutional institutions.”The manner in which the Modi government is functioning, it can also pose a threat to democracy in the country.
In the last few days, what happened in Indian Parliament is before the people of the country (to see),” he said, addressing the ‘Jan Akrosh Rally’ at Ramlila Maidan. Sonia said that the nation was going through turbulent times under PM Modi and every section of the society was suffering from “unprecedented violence and hatred.

“It is saddening to see that our society is suffering from unprecedented violence and hatred today. People from every section of society are suffering. The nation is going through turbulent times under PM Modi,” Sonia said.
Sonia Gandhi attacks PM Modi saying, “Roots of corruption became stronger in his regime.”The country is passing through a sensitive phase. The Congress will combat on behalf of people,” she says

The Modi government is muzzling dissenting voices, weakening institutions, dividing communities eyeing poll gains, she says.”PM Modi used to spread lies about Congress and it’s leaders. Now people are realising the strength of Congress and its workers.  In Gujarat, we were told we will get 25 seats. But see what happened.
They (BJP) had every institution – CBI, ED – every worker and see what we did.”
Rahul  said, “For the first time in 70 years, four Supreme Court judges came in front of the people and asked for justice. Modiji was silent. People in the Supreme Court took the name of Justice Loya and said that the court was under pressure.”
He  says the people of India are very unhappy with this government.”Nirav Modi runs away with the country but PM Modi doesn’t speak a word. In the Rafale deal, he changed the contract to take away business from Hindustan Aeronautic limited (HAL) and gave it to his friend who has debt of 45,000 crore. In the judge Loya case, SC judges came to people to seek justice,” he says.

“Youth of India thought PM Modi’s words will have weight when it comes to unemployment. In the past 8 years, we have the highest unemployment figures.”He had promised employment to 200,000 people every year. People trusted him. But after four years what we have is widespread unemployment.
Measures like demonetisation and the Gabbar Singh Tax (GST) have broken the back of the informal sector,” Gandhi said. “I personally met PM Modi to ask for loan waiver for farmers. When I asked Punjab CM Amarinder Singh and Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah if farm loans can be waived they did it in 10 days.
“BJP’s chief ministerial candidate in Karnataka has gone to jail. And on the other hand, Narendra Modiji keeps saying that he is fighting against corruption. Piyush Goyal could not declare his own company. For the first time, the power minister sold his company to another power company.
“The Prime Minister is in China and having tea with his Chinese President without any agenda. Earlier he would spend time with the Chinese leader on a swing. And now, he is having a no-agenda meeting.”He didn’t utter a word on Doklam when China is building a helipad.(With Agency Inputs ).
