Over 50 % decline in graft complaints: CVC
NEW DELHI: Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has said that graft complaints declined over 50 per cent in 2015 as against 2014. The probity watchdog said it received 29,838 complaints in 2015, the lowest in the past four years.
According to a report recently tabled in Parliament, Central Vigilance Commission received 62,362 such complaints in 2014.The Commission’s annual report for 2015 mentioned that it had received 31,432 and 37,039 complaints of alleged corruption during 2013 and 2012 respectively.
