Nawaz Sharif Admits Pakistani Terrorists Behind 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack

549133d52fcf2NEW DELHI:  Ousted Pakistan Prime Minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif on Saturday Nawaz Sharif on Saturday admitted that Pakistani terrorists carried out the deadly Mumbai attack in 2008.  Reports inform that Nawaz Shareef admitted it publicly.
During an interview to Pakistan’s Dawn, Sharif said, “Militant organisations are active. Call them non-state actors, should we allow them to cross-border & kill 150 people in Mumbai? Why can’t we complete trial?’ in reference to ’08 Mumbai attacks-related trials stalled in a Rawalpindi court.
To recall, the 2008 Mumbai attacks also referred to as 26/11 attack took place in November 2008. 10  members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, an Islamic terrorist organisation based in Pakistan, carried out a series of 12 coordinated shooting and bombing attacks lasting four days across Mumbai.
The attacks, which drew widespread global condemnation, began on Wednesday, 26 November and lasted until Saturday, 29 November 2008. 164 people died and 308 were wounded.
To recall, eight of the attacks occurred in South Mumbai at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Oberoi Trident, the Taj Palace & Tower,  Leopold Cafe, Cama Hospital, the Nariman House Jewish community centre, the Metro Cinema, and in a lane behind the Times of India building and St. Xavier’s College.
