In a recent event, the Chinaman spinner was asked if he had at any point in his career questioned Dhoni’s suggestions from behind the stumps. To which he responded that sometimes even Dhoni goes wrong with his tips but “you can’t say it to him.A news agency had quoted Kuldeep Yadav as saying that were a “lot of times” when even MS Dhoni “goes wrong”.
“On Wednesday, however, Kuldeep Yadav took to Instagram to clarify his statement, saying that it was “another made up controversy and that the “news is total false”. The left-arm spinner, who is part of the India squad for the 2019 World Cup to be held in England and Wales, signed off his Instagram story with “#Much respect Mahi bhai”.
“There are a lot of times he (Dhoni) goes wrong but then you can’t say that to him,” Kuldeep was quoted as saying. “Zyada baat nahi karte woh (he doesn’t speak much). He speaks only between overs if he thinks he needs to point out something,” he said further.

However, his comments were quick to spark a controversy and the spinner on Wednesday posted a story on his Instagram account to issue a clarification.Dhoni, who is considered one of the shrewdest brains in cricket at the moment, has been a force to reckon with in the Indian team for years now.
The only skipper to have won all major ICC trophies, he has wealth of experience behind his back which augurs well for the Men in Blue. He has often been credited by Kuldeep and his spin counter-part Yuzvendra Chahal for playing a big role in their careers with his imperative inputs from behind the stumps.
Dhoni is constantly seen helping the duo by suggesting them changes in their line and length by noticing the movements of a batsman and his suggestions work more often than not. However, Kuldeep’s recent comments about Dhoni going wrong at times was proliferated by the media reports, as per the spinner.

“Here we go for another made up controversies by our media who loves to make tangy rumours for no reason. Just want to throw some light on the issue that has been proliferated by some people, that the news is totally false. I didn’t give any inappropriate statement about anyone. #Much respect Mahi bhai,” he wrote.(With Agency Inputs ).
