Katrina Kaif Calls on Salman Khan for Help

MUMBAI:Katrina Kaif could write a book on how not to burn bridges. The actress continues to share a warm friendship with rumoured ex-beau Salman Khan and recently called on him for help with a problem she was facing.
The Cine Costume And Make-Up Artists Association apparently landed up at one of Katrina’s shoots at Film City to protest against the fact that she was using make-up artist Daniel Bauer who, as a foreigner, was not registered with the association. Mr Bauer, however, insisted that he had Indian grandparents. Since Katrina was keen to carry on working with Mr Bauer, she turned to Salman for advice. The protest reportedly came to a halt after a single call from Salman Khan’s team.
Katrina was linked with Salman when she joined the film industry in 2003. Her first major Bollywood film was Salman’s Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya in 2005. Their alleged romance reportedly ended in 2010. Salman admitted to being single while promoting his film Dabangg the same year. Katrina told a news daily that they had broken up but were still friends, something she has proved time and again by co-starring with Salman in 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger, forging a close friendship with his sisters and being a constant presence at Khan family dos.
