Iran is not Venezuela : Justice Markandey Katju

Apni kulahkaj hai usi baankepan ke saath ”

Despite killing Ayatollah Khameini, the US-Israeli aim of effecting a quick regime change and installing a pro-US puppet regime in Iran is bound to be a dismal failure, as explained by the eminent Prof Marandi of Tehran UniversityIn fact the killing of Khameini has united the Iranian people as never before, in fighting this war indefinitely.
I have already expressed my view that Iran will win this war, simply by dragging on the conflict, and fighting on till it becomes a stalemate, like the Vietnamese did.against America
The same view has been expressed by others
Iran is not Venezuela, where a quick in-and-out strike brought about a total regime change, with the new leaders succumbing to America and agreeing to Venezuela becoming a US colony. As explained in my article, Iran is a predominantly Shia country, and Shias are taught since childhood to prefer martyrdom to surrender, like Imam Husain at Karbala.
Iran is fighting back with missiles and drones, hitting not only Israel but also US bases in many middle east countries which have US puppet regimes.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have told the Americans and Israelis that the gates of hell have been opened for them
Iran’s ally Hezbollah is also attacking Israel
Even the US Embassy in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, has been bombed
An Iranian missile hit the office of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu
Some US F !5 jets have been reportedly shot down, and many US military personnel have been killed
Unlike Venezuela and many other Latin American countries which were invaded by ground troops, Iran is a land which is almost impossible to invade, as explained in the article below
Moreover, Iran is being supplied military equipment by its powerful allies, China and Russia, including new sophisticated equipment for downing US and Israeli aircraft
America cannot sustain a long war with Iran. This is firstly because such wars are very costly, and the money for it can only come from increased taxation on the American people, and secondly because the price of oil will go up the roof by it, since Iran has practically closed the Strait of Hormuz through which 21% of he world’s oil comes.
Many Americans were already finding it difficult to make two ends meet, and with this additional prospective burden looming, protests against the war have already started in many American cities, and are likely to increase exponentially in the coming days, as the war drags on ( as it happened during the Vietnam war )

Many prominent Americans, such as Prof Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University and retired US army Colonel Douglas Macgregor, have openly spoken out against the US-Israeli attacks on Iran
It seems President Trump and his cronies have bitten more than they can chew
