Hillary Clinton kicks off campaign for 2016 US presidential race

345964-hilarygren7WASHINGTON: Hillary Rodham Clinton, who in a video announcement on Sunday confirmed her much speculated candidacy for 2016 US Presidential race, took a road trip to Iowa on the same day to kick off the campaign.
Hillary, who has in past assumed the role of the First Lady as the wife of Bill Clinton, US Senator and Secretary of State, is being touted as one of the strongest contenders for the race and even President Barack Obama has expressed confidence in her by saying that she would make for an excellent president

Ready for Hillary’ supporters have organised organized for campaign events in all 99 counties in Iowa, and more than a thousand events across all 50 US states, DC, Guam, Puerto Rico & Americans Abroad in 5 countries.
Declaring her candidacy, Hillary made it clear that her campaign was themed on the common citizens as she expressed her desire to become the champion of “Everyday Americans”.I’m running for president. Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion.
Zeroing in on the issue of income inequality, which would apparently be the pivotal point of her presidential campaign, Hillary said, “Americans have fought their way back from tough economic times, but the deck is still stacked in favor of those at the top.”
Besides zooming in on income inequality and economic aspects of the Americans, Hillary’s campaign will also cash in on her prospects of being the first woman president of the US.
Clinton had earlier stood for the President in 2008, a race which she lost to fellow Democrat contender Barack Obama.
