Ekta Kapoor to co-produce Shahid starrer ‘Udta Punjab’!
MUMBAI: mThe queen of daily soaps on television Ekta Kapoor is a name to be reckoned with in the Hindi film industry too. Veteran actor Jeetendra’s daughter—Ekta ventured into producing films and made Balaji productions a big shot name.
The latest that has been reported about the reigning queen Ekta is that she will be co-producing Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punajb’ along with Phantom Films. The film features Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanj in pivotal roles.
Earlier, it was just Phantom Films producing the venture, but now with Ekta has a producer partner on board—the creative geniuses are going to walk that extra mile for sure.
