China to supply 50 more JF-17 Thunder jets to Pakistan
KARANCHI : China is set to supply another 50 JF-17 Thunder fighters to Pakistan over a period of three years, according to Radio Pakistan.
The Head of Chinese Aircraft Industry said that a total of 110 JF-17 Thunder aircrafts will be provided to Pakistan by China under a contract signed between the two countries, reported The Express Tribune.
The jets symbolize friendship between Pakistan and China. A fleet of eight JF-17 Thunder jets had escorted the special plane of the Chinese President Xi Jinping when it entered Pakistan`s airspace.
Beijing and Islamabad signed more than 50 agreements, worth 28 billion dollars, on April 20.
