Ishrat,  a victim of triple talaq way back in 2014, recently joined State BJP censured Banerjee’s `traditional indifference on the issue. She happens to be a lady, but has no understanding with the problem.’

Jahan, one of the five petitioners in the case against instant triple talaq, had faced boycott from her community after the Supreme Court verdict, but that has not stopped her from continuing her fight. She said she would use the platform to work for all women, and not just Muslim women.

With unpredictable changes happening in Indian States – despite forming a government Modi loses political peace, Congress losing it out in Gujarat with old dynastic thesis – Mamata’s minority vote-bank may split between male and female members in minority families, feel political observers.

At present only media and political propaganda matter and you cannot take anyone for granted,’’ an academic said, adding quickly from a tweet which said “new phones wins in war against hunger and technology wins, though income level didn’t go up in rural areas.’’
The minority women who suffered from triple talaq may get as much annoyed with TMC as Muslim Personal Law Board gets annoyed with neo-BJP under Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.

Who knows, what happens next?’’ counters another Bengal politician.Though only recently TMC won an electoral war against rivals in Sabang, but couldn’t ensure  BJP gets less number of votes, points out another political commentator.

Incidentally, minority vote-bank comes to about 33 percent in Bengal and by reform-driven agenda’s grace at least 20 percent of them have smart phones, and likes.
Thus who knows what happens next? Ask a pro-anti-talaq leader.
